It records. The pictures are fine in daylight and useless after dark. There is no usable mobile access. Retention is short. Nobody remembers the password, and the supplier who installed it is no longer around. Replacing everything is expensive, so it is left alone for another year — and it is still not answering the question it was bought for.

Much of an existing installation is often worth keeping. Coaxial cable can frequently carry modern higher-resolution cameras, which removes most of the cost and disruption of an upgrade. We assess what is there, identify which positions are actually failing you, and stage the work so the site is never left without coverage.
