CCTV Installation

HD and IP surveillance, designed and installed to suit the site

Most camera systems are sold before the site is understood

A package of four cameras is quoted over the phone, fitted in an afternoon, and only later does it become clear that the entrance is backlit at the time of day that matters, that the yard gate was never covered, and that the recording holds nine days instead of the thirty an insurer asks for. The equipment works. The system does not answer the questions it was bought to answer.

Survey first, then design, then install

We walk the site before quoting anything. We look at what needs to be identifiable rather than merely visible, where light falls at different hours, how cable can actually be routed, and how long footage needs to be kept. The design that follows is specific to your building — camera type, lens, mounting height and position chosen for each position rather than repeated across all of them.

What's included

How this is actually delivered

  • Position-by-position camera selection

Bullet, dome or turret, with the lens chosen for the distance it covers. A camera that identifies a face at a doorway is not the camera that watches a whole yard.

  • Low-light and backlight handling

Entrances facing the sun and unlit approaches are the two positions that most often disappoint. Both are assessed during the survey and specified for accordingly.

  • Recording retention planned around your needs

Storage is sized against how far back you may need to look — which differs for a shop, a factory gate and a farm.

  • Cabling done properly

Routed, secured and terminated so that it survives weather and does not become the weak point. Concealed where the building allows.

  • Handover you can actually use

We set up playback and mobile access with you and show you how to find and export a clip before we leave.

What you get out of it

  • A system designed for your site, not a package repeated from the last job
  • Coverage decided before installation rather than discovered afterwards
  • Footage retained for as long as you actually need it
  • Clear playback and export when something has to be reviewed
  • Local service response and ongoing support
